Includes:
10x Cerith Snails
12x Peppermint Shrimp
3x Tuxedo Urchin

Peppermint Shrimp

Aiptasia control is a critical part of regular reef maintenance. This specific species of aquacultured Peppermint Shrimp originates from the water of the Mediterranean and is particularly effective at consuming this pest anemone. In addition to their diet of Aiptasia, they are also beneficial scavengers that will clean up any uneaten food or waste in the home aquarium. While they are similar in appearance to our other captive bred Peppermint Shrimp species Lysmata boggessi, these shrimp tend to grow faster and exhibit distinct blue streaks along their sides. They are also completely reef safe.

Approximate Purchase Size:  .75” – 1”

Tuxedo Urchin

This regal looking species of sea urchin has formal looking blue bands separating its short, multicolored spines. Available in two color varieties, the Red Tuxedo Urchin has a dramatic red  spines in contrast to the Blue Tuxedo, which showcases darker blue. Mostly nocturnal, they will hide out in the rock work, coming out at night to consume all sorts of nuisance algae from hard to reach places.

Approximate Purchase Size: 0.5" - 1.0"

Cerith Snails -

As a beneficial member of every aquarium cleanup crew, the ORA Cerith Snail makes up for its small size with a big appetite. Active mostly at night, our spiral shelled scavengers consume detritus, uneaten fish food and algae. They enjoy burrowing through the upper layer of your sandbed, keeping it stirred and oxygenated. Our variety grows to a length of approximately 1.5” and is native to the Marshall Islands, where we mariculture these invertebrates alongside our Tridacna clams.

Approximate Purchase Size: 0.5" - 1"
