Description
This species is completely photosynthetic, getting all of its nutrition from sunlight which makes this Gorgonian a particularly great choice for the home aquarium. The slender and intensely purple colored branches add a distinct shape to the reefscape, and are often used to provide a natural hitch for seahorses.
