Crazy overflow
It just keeps overflowing and I can't figure it out. I have had it for 2 weeks and still can't get it to work
The skimmer pump died 31 days exactly after purchase. Saltwateraquarium.com told me I would have to contact bubble magus for the warranty. Bubble magus is one of the rudest companies I have ever dealt with and has stopped responding to emails from me without ever offering a solution this has been going on for 2 months now and still no response. I finally just ordered a replacement pump from here after the sales rep at bubble magus yelled at me while calling me bro about 15 times and then hung up on me.
Missing part
I think the skimmer would have been awesome but I think they were missing a part. There is a bubble plate that sits on top of the pump. But there's a rubber grommet to secure it in position. There was no rubber grommet in my skimmer box. Looks just like a nyos skimmer , build wise

This may be the best skimmer I have ever had. Comparing to hang on back skimmers though.nice skimmer atb7 inches water hight
Super Quite
Putting together was super easy, included manual wasn't much help but there are videos online you can find that will help but its pretty simple. I swear i cant even hear this thing, had no micro bubbles, just started skimming. It took about a day to break and is doing very well.
Fantastic
Gave her a one hour vinegar rinse then into the sump she went. 9 inches of water was too high. She is sitting in about 7 inches now. Immediately started producing dark skimate. Quiet as a DC pump. Fantastic value. I followed an assembly video on YouTube because the instructions aren’t the greatest. It’s a little fragile so be gentle when assembling. Also I am running the drain tube into a unused media reactor. A great feature if you don’t want to empty the collection cup as often. I have a 100 gallon mixed reef but this is a right sized skimmer. I started a refugium so I didn’t want all the nutrients sucked out of the water. If you have a heavy bio load you may want to go up a size to the curve elite 7. All in all this skimmer was well worth the money. A DC skimmer is not needed.

easy to setup, started working right away ,by second day it pulled 1/4 cup some nasty stuff, I would highly recommend
