Nero 5 Now with FISH GUARD!

Starting in June 2020 the Nero 5 will come with an included Fishguard accessory. Watch a quick overview of the Fishguard and how to install it.

Starting in June AI will be including the Fishguard with all Nero Pumps.  The Fishguard is a fish and invert guard that goes on the back of the pump.  To install it, simply take the pump, take the guard and there's a notch cut out for the cord slot on the back. Then use a submersible magnet to hold it in place, it should still allow the pump to be directionally adjusted.  You can then use the external magnet to hold the whole assembly on place just like you would without the guard.  The guard should do an excellent job of keeping fish and inverts out of the back of the pump.  A good trick for keeping them out of the front of the pump is always to run the pump at a low rpm even when you're not trying to generate a large amount of flow.

Starting in June the guard will be included in every Nero.  If you already own a Nero you can get one at no charge plus shipping and handling from the Aqua illumination parts store (COMING SOON) if you're international simply contact your local distributor for information on how to get yours okay that's it look forward to testing out your fish guard in June and thank you for choosing the Nero.
