Description

Formula Two™ Pellets are a perfectly soft moist pellet food, containing extra marine algae, for all herbivorous and omnivorous tropical fish. The soft moist characteristics increase palatability and promote easy digestion. They contain fresh seafood ingredients that mimic the nutritional value of a natural diet and promote proper growth, coloration and nutrition to algae eating fishes. This nutritionally rich formulation can be fed to a multitude of fish that require extra vegetable matter. It incorporates marine algae, Spirulina and garlic, a flavor enhancing attractant that helps stimulate the appetite of finicky eaters. This blend of premium ingredients is easy for fish to digest so they produce less waste and aquariums stay cleaner. Available in small (+/- 1.2mm) and medium (+/- 3.1mm) pellet sizes. Use the medium size pellets for fish from four inches up.

Good stuff

Been using these pellets for a few years now. I mix formula 1 and 2 together and feed alternately with frozen food. I feed fresh water and marine fish and everyone seems to love it. All are fat and healthy.

Sinks very fast

Other than betta pellets, these are the first pellets I've used for my reef tank and they sink very fast. The fish love them when they can get at them, but they sink so fast, my fish look confused as to what to do, so they just keep waiting for more food instead of going to the bottom to pick up the pellets. I normally feed them flakes and Piscine Mysis shrimp, and they both float. If the pellets sunk a little slower, then this would still work for me. But, at the moment, I'm just adding more waste in the tank since it's not getting eaten, except by my shrimp probably.
